Rabbi Ron Isaacs has been the spiritual leader of Temple Sholom in Bridgewater, New Jersey since 1975. He received his doctorate in instructional technology from Columbia University's Teacher's College. He is the author of more than 120 books. His most recent publications include The Bible: Where Do You Find it and What Does it Say and Raising a Jewish Child: Early Years. Rabbi Isaacs currently serves on the Sim Shalom Family prayer book Committee of the Rabbinical Assembly of America. For ten years both he and his wife Leora have designed and coordinated the adult learning summer experience called Shabbat Plus at Camp Ramah in the Poconos. Rabbi Isaacs has previously served on the Faculty of the Graduate Rabbinical School of the Jewish Theological Seminary, teaching a course entitled "Rabbi and Hazzan as Educator."
